Milo
Meet Milo Misher — Filmmaker. Creative leader.
This fall, I’m attending UCLA’s prestigious School of Theater, Film & Television as one of just 15 students selected for the Film, Television, and Digital Media program.
As captain of my high school’s Film Club, I’ve led over 20 students in producing original shorts. I recently created a short film titled Pocket Dial Kyle, a comedy that screened at the All American High School Film Festival and the Canterbury Comedy Short Film Awards.
Beyond school, I serve as the president of BBYO’s Los Angeles chapter, where I organize weekly programs, fundraisers, and immersive Jewish experiences that bring hundreds of teens together.
My documentary The Reel Rube, about inventor and cartoonist Rube Goldberg, took first place at National History Day LA and advanced to the California state finals.
This past summer, I attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts’ Warner Bros. summer program—directing scenes on the Warner Bros. studio lot and learning what it really takes to bring a story from script to screen.
Off set, you’ll find me scooping frozen yogurt at The Big Chill, where I observe people the same way I do in film. Or I’m interning at Jewish Life Television, helping produce a weekly series on celebrity ancestry and Jewish heritage.
